We serve at the Knoxville Area Rescue Mission
Mission Serve
Every eight weeks on a Saturday, volunteers serve a meal for about 200 people at the Knoxville Area Rescue Mission at 418 N. Broadway (between First Lutheran and downtown Knoxville, just before the underpass of Interstate 40). Four to five volunteers are needed to prepare the food at the mission at 9:00 a.m., and five or so other volunteers to serve the food at 11:15 a.m.
Volunteer parking is available at the mission. When arriving, mention to the staff that you are there to help prepare lunch with First Lutheran, and sign in at the front desk.
